Our goal is to have 100% participation from students and to raise $70,000 for the KSPTA to support the school district in many areas including:

●      Free Community Events  (New Family Welcome, Back to School Events, Book Fair, Games Nights, Movie Nights, Winter Market)

●      Grant Program & Teacher Stipends

●      Parent Education (Guest Speakers, Authors, Subject Matter Experts)

●      Staff Events (Teacher Appreciation Week & Luncheon, Staff Breakfasts)

●      Student & School Events (Assembly Enrichment, Grade Level Parties, Garden Programs, Bacich Talent Show, Kent School Dances, Earth Day Celebrations)

●      Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging items

●      Bacich Yearbook, Spiritwear and More!

Thursday, February 12th - 99Pledges.com is live and pledging begins!

March 2nd - March 4th Readathon Events at Bacich - Wednesday 3/4 Morning Pep Rally and Where's Waldo activity, Bookmark Contest sessions in Library, Author visit: Multicolored Monono by Nicole Todd Bailey, Mystery Readers, Buddy Reading with Kent Falcons, Recess Activities, Dressing up as favorite Book Character or Pajama Day, and More! Grade with the most participation* wins a popsicle party. Details coming via KSPTA communications.

March 2nd - March 4th Readathon Events at Kent -Monday Pep Rally, Tuesday Donut Holes for all students, Edible Book contest, Recess Activities including Book Trivia, Readathon Kahoot and Bookmark Contest sessions in Library. Winning Kent Falcon House with most participation* wins full donuts! Details coming via KSPTA communications.

*participation is how many students participate per grade (Bacich) or House (Kent), not by how much money is donated. Data is collected by 99pledges.com

Monday, March 9th - Last chance to donate! Last day of Bookmark Contest at both schools. Winning bookmarks, Bacich grade, and Kent House will be announced in collaboration with school staff, and will be  professionally printed to distribute to students!

• Students will receive a link to their personal pledge page via 99pledges.com

• Send this pledge page link to as many friends and family members as you would like. Encourage your child to write a short paragraph or make a short video to send with the link.

• Flat donations and per minute read pledges will be accepted.
